I have over 25 years behind the wheel of different vessels. over 20 of those years were fishing the great lakes and fresh waters back home in WISCONSIN. Then in 2008 I discovered the beautiful waters of the Florida Key’s. I fished from key largo to key west. I have not mastered all of the fish these waters have to offer, but I plan on it! I Love what I do. It’s my passion in life to not only fish but to teach others the enjoyment as well. From trolling for that trophy Marlin, or Mahi – Mahi, to Reef or wreck fishing for monster grouper or sharks. I give it my all, I study maps, and charts of old wrecks, and stay current with new tactics for scoring the big ones. My day does not end when I leave the docks, it just begins. After every trip, I go home to my office and I research new fishing grounds, weather patterns, current and tide charts. these all play a roll in good fishing or great fishing on the water. I will never pass up an opportunity to go fishing, I am always ready to put my knowledge to work and new tactics to use. I not only study the fish, and there feeding patterns, but their color likes and dislikes for lures. I hand tie and make several of my own rigs. This is my therapy, I love my job, and my office even more! So seeing something I made get destroyed by trophy fish, is very gratifying.
As of September of 2017, and the hurricane that directly hit the Florida Key’s, I moved back to Wisconsin and to chartering on Lake Michigan for those monster Salmon & Trout.
